About Softer Sundays
Softer Sundays is a half-day urban retreat where we practice the radical act of slowing down—together. We're barely two months into the year, and already the pace feels relentless. Before the weeks blur into months, what if you gave yourself permission to pause and recalibrate?
Through self-compassion meditation, sound healing, connection rituals, and contemplative writing, this retreat creates space to meet yourself with kindness, settle your nervous system, and listen to what's emerging. We weave together practices that honour both solitude and belonging, offering a softer place to land in the midst of life's demands.
Many of us move through our days at a pace that feels unsustainable, caught between what we think we should be doing and what our bodies and hearts actually need. We override our tiredness, postpone rest, and treat slowness as something to earn rather than claim. This retreat invites you to interrupt that pattern—not through force or discipline, but through gentle attention, compassionate presence, and the permission to simply be.
In collaboration with Penny Dunn from @lunasagrada, we're cultivating a morning that feels like an exhale—a chance to soften the edges, reconnect with yourself, and remember that rest is not a luxury. It's essential.
