Softer Sundays: An Urban Retreat

Softer Sundays: An Urban Retreat for Rest & Reconnection

Sunday 8th March | 9:30am–1:00pm | Shenton Park, Western Australia

In a culture that glorifies busy, rest is resistance. Early March sits in that tender in-between - past the reset of January, not yet mid-year - and it's the perfect time to interrupt the momentum and come home to yourself.

Join us for Softer Sundays, a half-day “urban retreat” where we practice the radical act of slowing down - together.

In collaboration with Penny Dunn from Luna Sagrada, we're cultivating a space for self-compassion, connection, reflection, and deep rest.

Our morning gathering weaves together:

  • Self-compassion meditation to meet yourself with kindness

  • Sound healing to settle your nervous system

  • Connection rituals that honour both solitude and belonging

  • Contemplative writing to listen to what's emerging

If you're seeking a softer place to land, we invite you to join us - all are welcome.

About your facilitators:

Amy is a therapist and contemplative practice facilitator specializing in mindfulness and self-compassion. With over 10 years of experience, she's trained in Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and is dedicated to helping others cultivate more balanced, connected, and meaningful lives.

Penny is a Reiki Master and sound healer who holds space for deep restoration and nervous system regulation through the healing power of sound.
